Welcome Kim. To move the service to Comcast you must first add the CNAME record entry to the GoDaddy name server. Once the record is verified as active in the Business Portal, you can change the MX records and DNS servers to point to Comcast. You can locate the records for your account by logging into the portal account at https://businessclass.comcast.net. Thank you for the reply John. Do I add the CNAME in GoDaddy or change the existing CNAME for email in GoDaddy to the CNAME provided by Comcast?
Also, do I wait to make changes to the MX records in GoDaddy until after the record is verified as active in the Business Portal?

HI Kim. The CNAME has to be entered first. If the MX records or the Name Servers are changed prior to CNAME verification,
the service will not activate on the Comcast Portal.
Thank you! Ok, I followed your instructions for DNS with godaddy and I verified this domain on my comcast account and I added an email address with godaddy domain. How do I configure Outlook to set this email account up to send/receive mail? Thanks for your help!
HI Kim. Here are instructions for setting up an exchange account.
On the Start menu, select Control Panel, select Mail, select Show Profiles, and then select Add.
Type a profile name, and then select OK.
Type your name, email address, and your mailbox password twice, then select Next.
When you get a security prompt, select the Don't ask me about this website again check box, and then selectAllow.
When prompted for your Username and Password, use your Business Class email address for Username.
Microsoft Outlook 2007 will now discover your email settings and configure itself to connect to your Exchange Service mailbox. Once this is done, select Finish. Then, you can open your new profile in Microsoft Outlook.
