Need True Bridged Mode

CAE's don't understand this stuff. I need my cable modem set to true bridge mode so my firewall and routers can handle the rules, addressing and traffic.

Help me plz.

If you have a static then you need fake bridge mode. Just assign the outside interface to one of your static ips and it will work. From what I understand Comcast uses RIPV2 to advertise the static to the Comcast modem, so true bridge mode won't work, needs a semi smart box because you can't peer with them.

Yeah that didn't work. I set the comcast modem to turn on software bridged mode and set my static into our firewall and we were unable to get any passthrough.
