connectivity within Comcast

our office (Comcast Business) connection is up and reachable from ISPs outside Comcast - but multiple users with Comcast home connections cannot reach the office. (get DNS but cannot connect -or even ping).

First failure we're aware of was apparently last Thursday 7/17/14.

Anyone?

Re: connectivity within Comcast

The office hosts several services - https, PPTP, VNC et. al. - on a Comcast provided static IP - 173.163.35.xx

The home users of Comcast on xfinity currenlt get IPs (DHCPd) of 75.75.171.xx and 75.75.168.xx respectively.

Each of those two users can ping each other but cannot ping (or otherwise connect https: or vnc or vpn) the office.

Tracerts timeout at 75.75.168.1

When I say 'get DNS' I mean if if ping themachine.theoffice.com it successfully retrieves the office address of 173.163.35.xx but no ping response.

That office 173.163.35.xx address is pingable (and connectable in the ways described above) from other Comcast Business locations (in that same 173 address range) and from outside ISPs including Verizon and others.

I do not know the model of the equipment at any of the locations. generally older installs. All worked fine thru last Thursday. Have been volleyed from xfinity to comcast business to 'the security team' (Comcast xfinity support suggests security is blocking the site - though could not tell me if that would block both business and residential Comcast customers from reaching the site).
