I arrived at my office to find that the internet and Voice over IP from Comcast Business was down. I called into Support. The support person bounced my Phone Modem and the Internet Modem. Voice came up, but internet did not. Support person submitted ticket Tier 2. 3 hours later my internet came up. Tier II support person called. He said it was a router problem with Level 3. I asked why my phone routed fine but not the internet. He claimed I must have an internal connectivity issue. Obviously this guy does not know what he is talking about. Does anyone know why voice over IP would route and not the internet?
