This is beginning to be a problem. It started about 6 weeks ago with the Comcast modem restarting randomly a couple times a day. It has gotten worse and worse. So far this morning our modem has restarted 3 times in 2 hours. We had the modem replaced a couple of weeks ago. Last week a tech was out and checked the signal levels; ended up telling us that a "power node" somewhere not far from us had a trouble ticket on it and was being replaced and it should be better in a couple of days.
That tech called back to check on us after 3 days and I told him it seemed better but the modem was still restarting itself a couple of times per day. That was Friday, June 7th. This morning back in the office and as I said above the modem has restarted itself 3 times in 2 hours. I have a trouble ticket number if you need that; not sure if it's still open or if they closed it. It takes about 5 - 10 minutes for service to come back after a restart and this makes our phones useless also since are phone lines are VOIP.
I appreciate you bringing your intermittent connection issues to our attention.
