Internet connection slows or stops every afternoon

Our business internet connection (100/20) slows to a crawl or worse completely stops every afternoon, forcing a reboot of the gateway. After the reboot things seem to be working normally again. The gateway is an older SMC model used unit that was installed because of issues we were having with our previous modem. Not sure why this is happening or what we can do keep the service consistent- or whether it is a network or gateway issue.

In general, a gateway that stops functioning & needs to be reset indicates that it is failing. When was the SMC installed? It also might help to post a screen shot of the modem's signal levels during a slowdown (can be found at http://10.1.10.1 ).

Greetings, hover your mouse over the "Internet" "Wifi" "Moca" links on the top right size of the gateway administration page it will signal you how many users/pc are connected to each
