Cannot connect to public xfinity SSIDs from Mac OS
It looks like others are having this problem from posts on this forum as well.
I've had a comcast business account for years now and my login to access that site works correctly. When trying to join the non-secure xfinitiwifi SSID, it opens a browser window asking for my Xfinity ID. When I supply the comcast business email and password, those credentials are not accepted.
I've also tried the secure XFINITY method. It asks me to access https://prov.wifi.xfinity.com to download a profile, but the same thing happens again when asked for the Xfinity ID.
Also, to make this simple I went to xfinity.com and attempted to login there. It will not accept my credentials even though they are valid on the Business site.
Why is the Comcast Business email and password not being accepted?
