The Comcast hotspot is the SSID XFINITYWIFI and this SSID is what you should be connecting. If you are a new Comcast Business Class Internet customer, it does take about 24-48 hours for your Business Class Portal (BCP) email address(es) to be populated within the XFINITYWIFI authentication databases. I want to make sure it is clear that you can ONLY have free access to any the Domestic Natiional XFINITYWIFI Hotspots using your BCP or Residential Comcast email address.
If you have all of the above specified information and you are still not able to get connected. call 800-391-3000, use the high speed internet technical option, report to the technical agent that your BCP email address is not being XFINITYWIFI authenticated and the agent will put in a Tier 2 ticket to have this manually updated. This usually takes approximately 1 2 business days to complete.
