Voicemail Indicator Light won't clear

We just received our Panasonic KX-TPA65 and set up our new VoiceEdge.  Right away the voicemail indicator lights were on. We set up our voicemails on each of the 3 lines, but since doing so the indicator light is still on.  We have no voicemails. Is there a solution for this?
