when making calls with a new pc usb headset on the the new comcast voicedge app, the called party complains that the callers voice is very soft/faint. have tried with different pcs with same result. the odd part is that the issue is ONLY w/ the comcast app ie ABSOLUTELY no issues when using ms teams or skype! anyone have similar issue? recommend usb pc headset that works for them?
@jasonw i was able to resolve my issue by adjusting the volume control of the mic of my headset under "device properties" of the "sound" input setting of windows 10 (per snips below). more of a band-aid to to the issue until comcast addresses their coding issue but at least people can hear me now when i use their app 😉
