I had originally opened the above question in July. I could not reply to it to see if the status has changed. Here's the original question: "We recently called Comcast Business Sales to inquire about upgrading our existing Comcast Business phone service to Comcast Business VoiceEdge Select. We were told that they currently can not port exiting Comcast phone numbers over to VoiceEdge Select. Sales rep indicated that it's being worked on but had no idea when it would be supported. It's virtually impossible to consider an upgrade to VoiceEdge Select, without using our existing business phone numbers that have been in use for a long time. Can someone provide some validation that this issue is being worked on and a sense for when we might see it?"

It is possible to convert your existing SMB Full Featured/Basic lines to Voice Edge select. I'll want to reach out to our loyalty team to see if we can find you any promotions for our Business Voice Edge Select lines.

We reached out to Comast Business sales recently and they indicated that Voice Edge Select is still not availalbe for those customers wishing to migrate their exisiting phone numbers to Voice Edge Select. Can someone provide an update on whether when this capability is being worked on and possibly when it would be available? Based on previous response, we got the impression it was available.

If you have concerns about the numbers you have, or anything else, please click on our handle (ComcastBiz_Support) and send a private message with your name, the business name, the complete service address (including city, state, ZIP, suite number, etc), and the phone or account number and we'll be glad to look into it.
