We've asked our frontdesk to start using the Comcast BVE softphone to answer incoming calls but the softphone keep crashing randomly.
Windows 10 computer, 2 users share this computer, they have their own logon to the computer but they logon to softphone with the same username and password, not at the same time though. We make sure the they sign out when the other person needs to logon.
Softphone will just crash randomly. When it does, the application disappears and she would have to reopen the app. They can be on a call or it might be just sitting there and it just goes away.
We've ask them to make sure to log off instead of fast switching to the other account.
We've wipe and reinstall the OS
We've reinstalled the softphone app
We've change out the keyboard and mouse from wired to wireless
We've tried it with or without Java
We've been on the phone with Comcast many times
Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestion or solution?
