I have a user with two assigned phone extensions, same caller ID firstname-lastname for both extensions. What happens when an outside caller tries to dial-by-name in our directory? Does it go to the first line found matching the full name? Does it offer the caller a choice of extensions? Thanks.
Thanks for reaching out about your Business Voice Edge services. When you are receiving an inbound call, you would hear the recording " for [Name] press 1, for [Name] press 2." If they are the exact same name, I would recommend changing that within the BVE portal as the caller would not know the difference.
