There was a post from another user about this but it is locked. I get several calls a day telling me that they need to verify my information for google. I know it's a scam. How can I make it stop? Different phone numbers each time, different areas of the country.
Is there an answer to this question? We are getting as many as 8-10 calls a day. It is taking a crazy amout of time away from my customers...
I have the same issue, and my business number is unlisted. Only Comcast knows that my Business has this number. Everybody else has my cellphone number.
So I am wondering who sold my Business name and number to those fake spam callers? If only Comcast knows these two together...
Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to reach out to the Digital Care team here through the forums. I am sorry to see that you are having this same problem, and we are more than happy to help get this addressed for you. Can you please send us a private message with your name, the full address, and phone/account number? -Anisa
Hi I get so many fake car warrantee and google listing calls every day for years. I have "Opted out" I have called back and pressed 1 to be removed, I have pressed 9 or whatever they say on call to be removed. When my phone rings, i can't even say "Hello" right away for fear it's some robo call. How do I get COMCAST the biggest supporter of "RIGHTS" and whose lives matter to make fake calls STOP? I saw Comcast ONLY answers this in a Private Message. I have no idea what I am doing on here. I thought this was a Private Message. Don't know if it is or not. Nobody was ever given my number. I use a different number for customers. Seems like the callers got both of my numbers from a company that knows the number. Why not help ALL your Customers network wide all at once and filter these calls? If I could at least put in your system, Do not take calls from "847*******+Chicago" that would be great. Seems easy enough to me for you to do. I have a guy working for me that could write the code. lmk.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out us through our business forums. I am truly sorry for the delay in our response. Depending on the type of voice services that you subscribe to will give you multiple options for setting call rejection or the ability to block certain numbers from calling your business line. More information on these options can be found through this link https://comca.st/3nYLxn5 . Have you attempted to put your number on the national do not call registry as well?
