On August 31st, 2018, the toll free number (1-888-710-6080) used to remotely activate call forwarding, as well as record Automated Attendant (AA) greeting from Business Voice and VoiceEdge Select customers will be retired.
On August 1, a recording was added to the telephone number explaining the upcoming retirement and encouraging customers to use our more convenient digital options. After August 31, a recording will be posted in its place so anyone who calls will still be informed of alternative options available.

The 888-710-6080 number was very convenient when we experience a power outage at our place of business and do not have phone service nor computer access. Previously I was able to call forward the business phones from my cell phone using the 888 number. Now, I understand that I will have to upload the comcast app on my cell phone, log in to my account and enter the call forwarding manually. This seems a bit more tedious, I will miss the simplicity and convenience of dialing the call forward number.
