1 of my voice lines is not working - all others are okay.
I've powercycled my cable modem and the telephone modem - no results.
There is no dial tone.
When the number is called - it just rings.

Hello cliord and welcome to forums. Would you please confirm which line you are having issues with. Also have you tried switching phones/cables to this line to better isolate the issue?
We are getting calls on various lines but I cannot hear the person on the other end.
A regular customer called back and told me that he could he me but I could not hear
anything. This is going on everyday.
what is the problem?
I recommend rebooting your phone modem if you have not done so already. Also is this issue intermittent or with every call? Also is your phone connected directly to the modem or using a phone jack/ splitter?
