Was told I need a new 2-year contract to change address when town renumber our street!
The town of Waltham decided in their infinite wisdom to renumber our street. I was able to change the billing address online but unable to change the service address, so I called Comcast support. I was told that they cannot do that unless I sign a new 2-year contract with them, which I am unwilling to do. In which universe am I unable to correct the incorrect address that Comcast has for me, unless I am willing to marry them for another 2 years? Worse customer service!!

If your service address is in Waltham, MA you are able to get your service address street number changed under your circumstances. I recommend that you contact 8003913000, then choose billing option. Please provide the billing agent your 16 digit account number and explain that your street address has changed and you need to have this updated. Please explain to the billing agent that there is a means by which your service address can be changed in your biller and if the agent is not aware of this, please request to speak to the billing agent's supervisor or escalation support agent. This will enable you to get your street address number changes within any recontracting.
