Unable to switch from Business Internet to Residential Internet at my home
I am in the middle of trying to switch from Business Internet to Residential Internet at my home. I submitted a Voluntary Termination Form this morning, and it was processed and I received a disconnect confirmation email.
However, when I try to sign up for Residential Internet online or via phone I'm unable to do so; the service is not available at my address. I'm assuming this is because "the system" still thinks it's a business address (in reality it's a house in a neighboorhood). My neighbors all have Xfinity, so I know there is residential service in my area (the addresses to my East and West and South all validate online), but not mine.
Comcast Business support transfers me to Xfinity Residential Sales, and they are unable to find a resolution for me.
Is there another depatment that I can call and speak to someone knowlegable about this type of issue? I think if I could find the correct support person this could be resolved quickly.
