I am a business customer that spends over $200 a month for comcast business serivce internet. I am expecting a little bit better customer service being a business customer. I have sold the old location where I was at and the new location will be done in 2 months now. I have been told there is no placing the account on hold that I will still get a bill. If I want to terminate then they will charge me huge fees. The customer service has been terrible to say the least. Why would I be paying for service that I am not currently using and I am planning on getting it in the new location. Do they really need to bill me for the few months that I am not going to be using it.
Comcast needs to get better at customer service. I was once double billed for months and finally accounting caught it and comcast gave me a lot of trouble getting that resolved. Lets see how or if comcast customer service will handle this situation.
What great customer service received from a business rep.
"I will go ahead and cancel your request to move service at this time so that you may call into customer care and speak with them about cancelling or start the move process with another rep. Thank you"

Hello wiredmedia and welcome,
Comcast does not provide any special circumstances for any business customer no matter what their charges are for their services account. Comcast does not have any holding or seasonal rates conditions for any customers. The alternatives you have are as follows:
1. You can terminate your Service Order Agreement (SOA) and pay the remaining Early Termination Fees (ETF) which is typically 0.75 times the remaining months of contractual services agreement. This is the most cost ineffective means by which to handle your situation.
2. You can keep your current SOA in full force, but lower / downgrade all your current services to the minimum service charges until your business services get established at you new location. Then you can call back and upgrade your services back to their current levels. This is the most cost effective means by which to handle your situation.
Hope this helps you out.
