Horrible Horrible Horrible

I was told it would cost $49 to set up a business acount. I agreed and Comcast set up my internet to process credit cards for my business. It never worked. The internet was so slow I couldn't process credit cards. I called customer service, they couldn't fix it so sent a technician. He came and told me he fixed the problem. After he left the same problem persisted. Another call, another technician the following day. He spent 3+ hours, but coudn't fix it. He thought maybe it was my router, so it was removed. Still no go. The following day another technician came out and brought a comcast modem. The problem persisted. I was told a manager would get involved. No manager called. So I called again. Another visit from a technician and still the problem could not be fixed. they checked the connection on the pole, the connection to my modem, they looked for splitters (there were none). They told me I had to upgrade to a faster service - I refused since the service I was paying for was not working - why upgrade? Why can't the service I'm paying for work? They tested the speed: yes, my speed was running at half what I was suppose to get - They told me a manager would call. I got a message saying I should use their modem to solve the problem... I guess no one gave him the memo that we already tried that. I was then given a number for a manager to call - I called, got his voice mail, left a mesage, he never called me back. Then I got the bill: $150. $49 for the install, $49 for the month of NON service and a $49 activation fee that I was never told about. So I called customer service - They told me I signed a contract for the activation service. When I told him my service never has worked correctly and I wanted to speak to a manager he put me on hold. After 30 minutes on hold I finally hung up. What a joke - horrible internet service, horrible customer service, horrible technical service. And still no one has fixed my issue. I am expected to pay for non service - REALLY?????!!!

Did Comcast resolve your complaint?  I see a lot of complaints posted here but no resolutions...

You comcast "service" guys are so full of sh.t. 

Call sales and instantaneous service and spam pursue us.

Call service after the sale and no one picks up .....

I speak nationally and will tell the "Comcast unservice story" many times to thousands of people and I will unreservedly recommend that if you arent with comcast DONT EVER CONSIDER IT and if you are, CHANGE NOW, the competitors care,

if for no other reason because they dont have as many customers as comcast.
