Customer installed modem, still being charged for rental of Comcast modem

As the title says, I returned my Comcast rented modem on Sep 6th or so, and installed my own customer provided modem. I checked my bill this morning, and I am still seeing the $12.95 rental fee for equipment, which I can only assume is the cable modem tha tI returned almost a month ago. What is the best way to get this corrected?

The lady that I turned the modem in to said she was having trouble finding my account information, but she did take my modem and give me a receipt, so hopefully she actually did remove the modem from my account eventually.

Re: Customer installed modem, still being charged for rental of Comcast modem

Hello refrax and welcome,

Simply call 18003913000 option 2 and speak to a billing agent to 1.) remove your 12.95 equipment fee rate code from the biller, and 2.) provide your accountwith a 12.95 adjustment, 3.) provide the agent your equipment receipt information for notation within you account.

Hope this helps you out.
