So, I went to pay this months bill today and not only do I have a new charge for Office 365, they have back-billed me for Office 365 for last month. I do not use Comcast's provided email service and I have no interest in Office 365. I never authorized these charges. I went ahead and checked my email to see if they emailed me about this in the past. I found a bunch of emails offering me deals on Office 365, but nothing saying that I was going to start being charged for this.
I am seriously pissed about this. Comcast has no business adding new services to my account and charging me for them without my authorization.
Hi Digitoxin and welcome to the business forums.
I would like too review your billing concerns and look into these charges. Please private message me your full name,, the full service address and the phone number associated on the account.
I experienced the same last year and didn't notice for a couple months. When I did, I called to cancel in November. They told me it was cancelled and they'd refund me. They gave me a CR number, too. Fast forward to now, I went to look at my bill again after getting back into the country from traveling for the holidays and they STILL haven't cancelled it or refunded me.
I call back in again and get sales. The guy I talk to said the CR number isn't useful to him, sends an email to his manager (instead of opening a new ticket or adding to the old one), and repeatedly tells me he's in sales, so he can't do anythign with the tickets. I ask if there's a different number I should call if it still isn't cancelled, and he says, no, I'm in the right place. So now I've called in AGAIN, have no papertrail for it, and am STILL not sure that they will cancel and refund me. I'm a bit frustrated to say the least.
