My 3 year contract at the beginning I did the download test was getting 52Mbps down & 12Mbps up, well had to wait till I could get the UBEE modem which was faster than the first it was ok for emails and basic downloading but when my business is closed I like to enjoy PC gaming which had been plagued with lag.
My contract is just for internet and one phone and no TV not a bad price considering that through my IT business I got Comcast at least 8 commecrial contracts well finally after about 2 years I finally call and complain about my bandwidth the support person tells me "well I can see I can give you an upgrade", I ask is this going to cost more than my agreeded upon contract ?, I was told no well I had a feeling that was not true and as it turns out Comcast bumped up my bill by 50% and it's the same speed as before.

Well as it turns out the call to support will end up being a BIG mistake as I have just been given the newer Netgear gateway/modem and my speed has not changed from what it was 2 years ago, and as the SS from my account it look's like when I called support they handeled it as a "Balance Explanation", so my advice comes from 25+ years of dealing with Comcast is don't call for support issues unless you want to pay for nothing. The best time to get your service right and get the best deal is when when you are entering into your contract anything outside of that is going to end up costing you more.

I feel like the same thing. I moved from residential to business calss and now residential users are getting WAY FASTER speeds almost 2x's what I got and they are paying FAR less. Now my uploads hitting all time lows as slow as 1mb. At least you're doing 10.
