CR761194235 - Cancelled Teleworker service back in August 2016 and and still getting billed

I need help with a billing problem that has been occurring since August 2016 when I had active Comcast Teleworker service at an old address.

 

I wanted to keep the Teleworker service so contacted National Teleworker support requesting the service be transferred to my new address. At no point was I informed that I would need to disconnect service at my existing location. I assumed since the service was being transferred the account and billing would all be changed to my new address.

 

The installers sent by Comcast were unable to get the service working at my new house despite three install attempts, so I switched to the XFinity service and told support I wanted to cancel the Teleworker service. I have had service with XFinity since August 2016, and only recently found out when reviewing my bank statement that I was still getting billed for the Teleworker service at a location I have not lived in for almost two years.

 

I contacted billing support again, and they opened case CR761194235. The rep I spoke with on opening the case said they would disconnect the service that was still on at my old address. That was apparently not done, as my response from support on the case said they show the account as still active. So, for the love of God, can I get that disconnected please?

 

From what I can tell now, it appears my support case has been closed, though the issue is far from resolved. I am extremely frustrated at this point and am now ready to cancel my current account and have nothing further to do with Comcast.

 

My experience in dealing with support so far has been far from impressive.

 

Thanks for any help you can give me on this. I am requesting credit backdated to Aug 2016, as I have been actively billed for two different locations and services, but have only been using one.

Further update, checked my bank account today and another charge for $51.00 for Comcast Business Class Internet posted. I want to hear back from billing support on this case, which I have repeatedly asked to be cancelled.

 

Manuel from billing, please refer to case notes for CR761194235. I am asking once again, please cancel the account and disconnect service for my business class account 922170569 in Citrus Heights. I no longer live at that address. Again I have not lived there for over a year and a half.

 

Please refund all charges that were billed retroactively dating back to August 2016.

 

If I do not hear back from someone by tomorrow I will post my wonderful experience on Facebook and Twitter.
