Business to Residential - Termination Fee Needs to be Removed!

I contacted Comcast Business on 2/15/19 this year and requested termination due to reliability.  The bad service in our area at times made business unrequired and no static IPs necessary so the agent told me specifically to sign a docusign agreement he emailed me and ignore the early termination fee of $3400+.  I switched to residential and connected it that same day on 2/15/19.

Now here on 3/21/19 I'm getting a bill for $3200 for my unused service but WITH the early termination fee.

This is deceptive and the converation I had on 2/15 stated there would be no fee.  I would definitely never switch service if that huge fee would be charged!  I need help from someone internally to fix this issue, honor the stated committment from Comcast service, and allow me to continue with my residential service I have now (xfinity residential).

Thanks, fully prepared to contact legal authorities, BBB, etc if I can't get Comcast to resolve this.  Been a loyoal customer forever!

Re: Business to Residential - Termination Fee Needs to be Removed!

Hello, Travis, thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. I apologize the charges hit your bill even though we communicated differently. I know this must have been alarming and upsetting Smiley Sad I will be happy to take a closer look at your account and the Early Termination Fees. If you can send a private message I can pull up your account and review your account notes and history. Please include your account phone number, the account number, and your entire service address. (with the city, state, & zip code)
