Deleting old content

Hello,

I'm a teacher at Dover Sheborn High school and I've been struggling with deleting an old website that has some old answer keys to problems that I still use and that I'd rather not have on the web. I tried signing in to the ftp to delete my old files, but I keep getting kicked out...it's been years since I put the info up there and don't use it any more, so I'm hoping it can just be deleted. I was able to sign in to the comcast business site with my old credentials, but couldn't to do so on the ftp site.

The site is [removed from public thread]

The entire directory can be deleted.

Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

I know how frustrating this can be for you and you have reached the right team to help get this taken care of for you.

Have you tried reaching out to the company who owns the website? Unfortunately, we would not be able to delete the page for you as it is not our website.

Thanks for getting back to me. The company is [removed from public thread] High School (for whom I work!), but no-one here claims to have ftp access to the site any more. We have moved our website to a different hosting provider, but still have some services from Comcast, so the old sites were never deleted.

Any other thoughts as to how I might get access to delete this directory?

I was able to try to log in, but my credentials did not work, whereas they do still work to log me in to, for instance, these forums.

Were you able to contact that server by chance? We just do not have any access to other websites so we would not be able to delete this for you.

I see what you mean and I am so sorry about that. So, your credentials do work for the forums which are amazing! As far as the website, we do not have access to that site. I was able to see at the bottom of the website and email of [removed from public thread] does this sound familiar?
