True Bridge Mode

Hello,

I recently had my Comcast Business IP Gateway placed into True Bridge Mode but then had to have it replaced for a technical issue. I had it placed into True Bridge Mode earlier but I called customer support and they don't seem to understand what I am talking about. I noticed other people were successful with placing a request on the forum. Comcast please help me.

Thank you.

Can you send an IM to any of the red "Comcast_" on this forum with your name, account number, and gateway CM MAC. Also, if you have one of the newer Cisco gateways, you may be able to go to the config pages at http://10.1.10.1 with user = cusadmin and password = highspeed, and from there you can enable bridge mode.

Hi vongolaxsky.  The SMC gateway has been placed in true bridge mode.  All router functionality has been disabled.  Please reboot your directly connected router/firewall to ensure that it obtains the public IP address.

Thank You

Hi, I was also looking to have my router enabled for True Bridge Mode.
I tried to send a PM but it didn't go through. If there is anything you need, let me know.
