SYSLOG Forwarding with DPC3941B?

I would like to setup syslog forwarding using my DPC3941B router.  My understanding is that this capability does not exist with the customer UI.  Is there a way to get this configured or do I need to purchase additional hardware to support this need.  If so, what is recommended?
