Spare Business Modem

Is there a possibility of having a spare comcast business modem (with static IP's). We have many sites in Houston and we need to ensure sites are up. When a modem fails, it would be great to allow us to have one that we could deploy in the case that a device dies so we do not have to wait for a service tech to arrive.

Obviously, we would be happy to purchase this.

Hey there, thank you for reaching out. Is your current modem failing often, if at all? That shouldn't be the case and in the event that it is, I would like to get that fixed for you so that back up equipment is not a worry.

We manage approximately 50 locations in Houston. One of our sites where patients are seen failed on Friday morning. The modem was reprovisioned. It died again Friday afternoon. Patients will not be able to be seen on Monday morning until the tech shows between 10 and 12. If we had a spare device, we could put it in place on Monday morning at 7:15 and there would be no down time.

I'm not entirely sure what the process would be to secure a spare modem that would serve the purpose you described, but I would encourage you to reach out to your Comcast Business sales rep to see if they can set you up with something like that. You could also try calling the sales office at (855) 211-6082 to see if they can point you in the right direction.
