Port Scans

Does the Netgear CG3000DCR respond to port scans?  I would like to see if the ports I require to be open are open.

Initiated from the LAN side, yes it does. As for the cable WAN, I would imagine so, but i do believe it is bad ettiquette to run a port scan over the internet.
