Port forwarding - CGA4131COM - not working

Greetings -

 

I am attempting to set up port forwarding for an extrnal time server (NTP),   I have added the service in the Gateaway with the required port (123) and a local ip.  When I check the port status via the site https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/  it reports the port as closed.  I have called customer support and they have verfified that the setting are correct.  When I telnet into my local SNTP clock it reports thst it sends a request to the time server but no reply is receieved.   I am at a loss and would appreciate any help.

That port is not blocked: https://business.comcast.com/help-and-support/internet/ports-blocked-on-comcast-network/ , so I'd like to look into this further. Please click on my handle (Comcast_Gina) and send a private message with your name, the business name, the complete service address (including city, state, ZIP, suite number, etc), and the phone or account number, as well as any other pertinent information that may help me to get this figured out for you.
