Hideous Protocols for Account Activation

I just wasted 30 minutes of my life trying to activate my Comcast Business account from the link provided in an email they sent me.  What a hideous protocol to link the account to a @comcastbiz.net email address that I don't even use, nor did I ask for.  They could save everyone a great deal of time by simply linking the account to the email address of the email they send to link the account!

Get with it!  Quite wasting people's valuable time!
