Expanding a network with Mesh

I have a Comcast Business Router set up in a building, but we're not getting good reception on the 2nd floor of the building. So I bought a set of mesh network routers in an effort to expand the network.

However I was only able to create a secondary network with a different SSID.

Is there a way I could connect the mesh network routers to the Comcast Business Router and have it all be under one SSID? Essentially I want to use the Mesh network as extenders without disrupting any settings we have for the Comcast Router. I was thinking I could turn the Business router into Bridge mode and then connect the Mesh. But wasn't sure if that would disrupt things already connected to the router.

Hi there, @user_dca5f7 Thank you so much for reaching to us regarding your connectivity question. Yes, you can connect a mesh network to your Comcast Business Router and have everything operate under a single SSID by putting the Comcast router into bridge mode which essentially disables its routing functions, allowing your mesh network to handle the routing while still using the same network name (SSID) for seamless connectivity across your entire network.-Richard
