Enable SNMP on LAN interface (CG3000DCR)

Hi,

I have a Comcast CG3000DCR Business Gateway that I would like to monitor from the LAN side with SNMP. Is it possible to have SNMP enabled on my gateway?

Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out regarding the SNMP ability, moocow. Those ports are blocked and this link actually explains it pretty well: https://business.comcast.com/help-and-support/internet/ports-blocked-on-comcast-network/ . If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know!

I'm referring to the LAN side. I understand why the port is blocked on the WAN.

Can you help with that? It seems Comcast has enabled this support for others. The port isn't even blocked, but it seems the SNMP service is disabled. Thanks.

Let's take a closer look at your device and configuration. Please send a private message with your name along with the Comcast Business account number and complete address.

Just saw this post.  I could use assistance as well.  I am looking for much richer network monitoring data than the unit provides natively via the api offered.  Mostly I am looking to see 1.  Total Mbps in and out, as well as by host/mac.  2.  System and IDS/IPS logs 3.  Errors/Issues would be nice too.  I figure if I can leverage a SolarWInds or Peassler tool via SNMP I could be satisfied.  Can I have SNMP made available on the private side of the router?
