Disable all wfi on Comcast Router

Hi,

I have several Broadcom_Guest plus an Xfinitywifi SSID's broadcasting from my Comcast Business router. We do not use the wifi on this router and want all guest network or any wifi broadcasting from this router turned off permanently.

Thanks.

Hello! You can manage the WiFi Hotspot settings via MyAccount. Here is an article that will help you manage those settings: https://comca.st/3jJjWGl;

Additionally, you should enable bridge mode through the gateway's admin settings if you have a dynamic IP address.

Okay so I've done that but the Broadcom_Guest_ networks have not gone away and I know these are coming from the Comcast router. There was one other network (it was actually a blank SSID) that did go away after disabling guest network but these Broadcom ones are still there. They show up as:

Broadcom_Guest_0_3

Broadcom_Guest_0_5

Broadcom_Guest_0_6

Broadcom_Guest_1_3

Broadcom_Guest_1_5

Broadcom_Guest_1_6

I appreciate you letting us know that you are still seeing the WIFI Network showing as available. This sounds like a concern that we will need to directly access your Wireless Gateway settings to help disable. For help, can you please send us a Private Chat Message?

To send us a Private Chat Message, select the message icon in the top right corner and then search for Xfinity support. With our new Xfinity support chat, you do not need to input the name of a person. Just select Xfinity support and you will be able to speak with the next available specialist.
