Chromecast with DPC3939B Router

It has been seven months since the orginal post on this topic was created. I am new to Chromecast and having had trouble getting it to worked Google'd it. eading me here.

So, Community Managers.In the last seven months has there been any update to this situation? I would rather not return my Chromecast. Cables are so 1990's
