cable haunt
With recent announcement of "Cable Haunt" critical vulnerability in cable modems (https://cablehaunt.com) I am wondering what is the Comcast stand on it. What modems/gateways are affected, if any? E.g., is DPC3941B vulnerable?
Thanks,
Kastus

Hi there, thanks so much for reaching out to the Digital Care team here through the forums and that is a good question! Is that the current modem you have now?

I'll continue this thread.
We have the Technicolor DPC3941B modem.
1. Is this modem vulnerable to Cable Haunt?
2. If so, will Comcast be updating the firmware to mitigate the Cable Haunt vulnerability?
3. If so, when will that be done, will I be notified, and how can I tell if the mitigation has been completed?

Currently your cable modem is protected. If you are worried about further security concerns I recommend our new security edge services. More information regarding these services can be found through this link. Please let me know if you are interested in these services. https://comca.st/2RCcYop;
