Bring your own equipment.

I see that you provide a Netgear N300 for some business class accounts.

I happen to have an Netgeat N600 that I used on Xfinity for > 1 year.

Is there any chance I can bring my own equipment using this N600 device?

I'd love to know the technical reason why not as well.

If it is not available on that site, then we do not support the equipment so we would not be able to add it to our system and it would not get the necessary updates required to receive services.

Thanks for sharing the model type with us, @user_199bc7. I don't see we support CM500-NAS on our website. Have you been able to submit your information on the link my colleague shared so we can confirm if this is something you can use?

To send a "Peer to peer" / "Private chat message" message to "Comcast Business":

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there
  • - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list
  • - An "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it"

I no longer work for Comcast.
