Using static IPs with customer owned modem
I am looking at newer hardware and am dissatisfied with my Cisco gateway.
If I buy a CM1000 Netgear or a Motorola MB8600 or other Docsis 3.1 device that the comcast sites say are compatable... Will i be able to use the static IP's that I purchase through comcast?

You would need a leased modem to continue to use the static Ip's provided by us. Please reach out through private message with the name, address and phone number on the account and I would be happy to assist with any service or equipment concerns that you may have.
