Transferring email names from consumer to business comcat accounts

Hello:

 

I have a question.

 

 

I just updated my Comcast Internet to Comcast Business Internet. Since we are a family business, we wish to keep our same addresses that we have  at our consumer account at comcast.net, while using the Business connection. Do we have to keep both the consumer account AND the business account in order to keep the same consumer email addresses?

 

Secondly, why does the business only allow 3 email addresses when the consumer account , which cost less, allows 5? I need all of the current email addresses I have on my Comcast consumer account transferred to the business account, and I want them all to be @comcast.net

 

I got the Comcast Business account for the increased speed.

Hi Bruce I went through this and the short answers are:

 

No on transferring residential email accounts to a business account.

 

And, because the business accounts are full on hosted exchange accounts allowing for shared address books and a host of other features not available through the residential system to knock about with.
