Static IP is unavailable after a factory reset

After restting my modem to factory settings my static IP is unavailable. I have read other places only comcast employees can fix this. Why is that?

 

Can someone fix it for me?

Hi gaigepr.  Please send me a private message with the Static IP Scope as well as the account number and I will configure the device.  Also when the device is set to all customer configurations are removed, including fixed static IP configurations.  You can reset the device by removing the power, this will clear the device cache without clearing the device configurations.
