Reverse DNS Lookup Delegation

We called support and exchanged some e-mails with our local Business Services Implementation manager, but could not have this done correctly.

We got 100Mbps EDI and /24 static IP addresses two weeks ago and are about to start our services as a data center for our parent company in Japan.

However, due to lack in DNS reverse lookup configuration, our services cannot be lauched right away.

Would anybody from Comcast help us please?

Also, we need 'whois' info to be changed so that 'whois our-ip-address' shows our company info.

Thank you.

Hi Chirico.  Please send me a private message with the account number and the /24 IP Scope and I will engage the Enterprise Team to assist with resolution.

Thank You

As mentioned in the private message, DNS delegation is OK now.

However, we still need some modification to whois.

% whois -h whois.arin.net NET-(Our-IP-address)

outputs Comcast's RTech, OrgAbuse and OrgTech.

Would you please change them (at least RTech) to our POC so that we can handle abuse notifications quickly?

Please check my private message for the details.

Thank you.

OK. There is no response for a while.

What about adding 'Comment' to whois like below?

Comment: Please send abuse complaints to xxxx@xxxx.net

This is pretty reasonable, isn't it?

I gave up whois.

Reverse DNS delegation is OK.
