RDNS Delegation

Hello,

Can I have the RDNS delegated for my IP block? Also, my IP seems to be geolocated to either Marrietta, GA, New Jersey, or Chicago and I need this set to Somerville, MA if possible.

Hi Mike Spears. RDNS Delegation request are now handled by the Enterprise Team @ 1-800-741-4141 opt#2 && opt#1. As customer proprietary information is required for this change, the account owner must call and verify the CPNI in order to have the change processed.

This is for normal business services, I have a block of 13 statics, I'd like to be able to run RDNS through my existing DNS servers. Also, that number you provided seems to be for Metro Ethernet. If it's easier, which it seems to be, can I PM you the RDNS records I'd like to have created?

Hello Mike Spears,

You are correct that number is to our Metro Ethernet team.

As my colleague has posted, for RDNS delegation request our Metro Ethernet team has to be directly contacted.

If you just need RDNS/PTR record entry.

Please send the following information via pm to either to me or my colleague:

1. Your Full Name

2. Your Account Number

3. RDS/PTR entry - ex: aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd --> mail.mydomain.com
