Manage Domain is also never showing up well after 48 hours
Hello,
I am trying to transfer my domain over so I can get my e-mail server working. I put the CNAME record in over 48 hours ago. I still see nothing under Manage Domains and cannot find anywhere to check the status. I really need to get this working or do it another way. I tried to call tech support and they were less than helpful and said domain services only works 8-6 PM M-F. This is not for a business. This is is for personal e-mail and I can't work on it between 8-6 PM M-F. I'm not really happy. I could have had this setup with any other DNS hosting site in about 5 minutes and would just need the information for the PTR record. Is there a reason I have to use Comcast to host the domain. Can I keep it where it is now and just get the reverse DNS lookup settings from you? I would think I could do that.

Hello IndyRomanoMom,
Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear about our tech support was not able to assist you.
Based on your post it appears you just need a PTR/RDNS entry.
I can set the PTR/RDNS for you, provided your account have a static IP with Comcast.
Please send me the following information via private message.
1. Your Full Name
2. Your Account Number
3. PTR/RDNS entry with Static-IP
(EX: mail.mydomain.com --> xx.xx.xx.123)
If you are still interested in having Comcast be your SOA, please send me the above information via PM.
Thank you
