IP address
I am having issues with one desk top no longer connecting to our printer. It worked fine until the power outage about a week ago and now will not connect. I have had printer company come out and they say the IP address does not match and will not connect. My own desk top is on one IP address and the other is different. Is there a way to remove one of the IP addresses and will that solve the problem?

We don't offer static IPs on our residential accounts, so we wouldn't be able to give you an IP that won't change. Since this issue is device specific, you would need to work with the manufacturer of the printer for help in resolving the connection errors. You may also try to forget the printer from the desktop that isn't recognizing it and got through the set up process again. Did you have any other concerns related to your Xfinity services or billing we can help with?
