HELP!!! Can't Verify Ownership

I started to build my stores website and got 3 error messages when it finally went through I had three domain names, deleted 2 of them and am trying to verify ownership of the one that I want but it keeps taking me back to the page that says verify ownership. What am I doing wrong??? Does it take a day or something before I can finish creating the page??
