Email address is too long...

I need help fixing a solution for our business. Our email address is WAY too long. We are trying to get it out in advertising but it is difficult squeezing all the letters in because it is so long. I contacted Customer Service about this and they suggested that I Register for a Vanity Domain that we could in turn hand out to people and they would email us there but that would be linked to our completely long email address. I have registered for the vanity domain and it shows up now under our "Manage Services" tab under websites. I hope I am understanding this correctly. I did not want to create a new website...I wanted to shorten our email address or create an address that forwards to our email address. Can you tell me what I need to do next or if there is anything that can be done. My confirm # from being on the phone was CR405461610 if that helps. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply to your post.

 

What our support team recommending with a "vanity" domain is to create an alternate email "name" on your .comcastbiz.net.

For example:

Your current email address - salescontact@myoriginaldomain.comcastbiz.net

Your vanity domain - mydomain.com

You create an alias in MyAccount for: salescontact@myoriginaldomain.comcastbiz.net as: salescontact@mydomain.com
