Does a PTR record for static IP expires?

There seems to be an issue where a PTR record previously in place for my static IP has not been deleted?  Been working for 5+ years, wonder if there's a shelf life on these things?  Any one else seeing this?  The only reason this came to light is because our emails aren't reaching customers.

Can someone please help restablish our PTR record?
