Designate different DNS servers for domain?

I have been using the Google ones for years with out diffeculty.  Its an easy setting in the router.

Thanks for the reply, I don't think that's the situation I'm describing. I think you are talking about when your end generally does DNS lookups.

I'm not trying to just set the servers used for lookups.  I'm trying to change the servers that are referred to when someone does a lookup on my domain. Ideally, I'd be able to change the servers that are indicated as the authoritative servers with the registrar for my domain.
