Additional static IP addresses
How do I go about requesting additional static IP addresses. I currently have 5. I understand the next level gives me 13.

HI ddockter. To request additional ip address an to make changes to your current services please contact the Business Service Center @ 1-800-391-3000 The Business agent will add the additional services and coordinate the required changes.
Thank you

Thanks. I was able to find that phone number earlier and ordered the additional addresses. Do you know if they will just assign additional addresses to my existing range (I hope) or will I be given a new range of addresses and my old ones will no longer be valid (hope not).

ddockter. Unfortunately the new IP block will not be an extension of your current range. A separate IP Scope will be assigned.

Will that be in addition to my current scope or replace my current scope entirely?

Do you know if there will be some overlap in time where both ranges are valid so I can make the necessary changes for the switch over?

Hello ddockter,
To assist in this matter I've sent you a private message with information for the switch over.
Thank You

Jon, Could I get a copy of this procedure as well? Comcast phone support says the moment I get the new IP's my old range is taken.
